โจ ESSAY WRITING CONTEST
Unleash your ideas and let your voice be heard! Join our Essay Writing Contest as we celebrate National Childrenโs Month. This activity gives students the chance to express their insights, reflections, and creativity through writing. Topics will be given on the spotโso get ready to think critically, write with purpose, and share your perspective.
GUIDELINES:
1.) The contest is open to all bona fide students of Bukidnon National High School.
2.) Each section may have only one (1) representative to join the contest.
3.) The essay must be original, unpublished, and written solely by the participant. Any form of plagiarism will result in automatic disqualification.
4.) The topic for the essay will be given on the spot during the contest and should reflect the participantโs personal insights, experiences, and reflections related to the theme.
5.) Essays must be written in English and will be written on A4 bond paper, which will be provided. Each participant will receive one (1) sheet for the draft and one (1) sheet for the final output.
6.) Participants will be given 1 HOUR to finish their essay.
7.) Contestants must arrive at least 15 MINUTES EARLIER than the scheduled time.
8.) The registration link will be open until November 18, 2025.
9.) The announcement and awarding of winners will be held on November 26, 2025, during the Childrenโs Month Culminating Activity.

40% - Content and Relevance to the Theme
25% - Organization and Coherence
20% - Creativity and Originality
15% - Grammar, Spelling, and Mechanics
100% - Total
