[π‹πŽπŽπŠ] The Department of Health Human Resource for Health under the National Health Workforce Support System, holds Quarterly Meeting in Casisang, Malaybalay City wrapped up last March 30, 2026, at the City Agriculture Office.

The meeting proceeded with a very informative discussion on FHSIS updates conveyed by the PHO FHIS Coordinator Mr. Gabriel Jay Pagote,ENR, Ms. Rose Sharon Fernandez, PHO Admin Aide I and Ms. Vheena Bonn Omandam, Disease Surveillance Office II PDOHO Bukidnon.

Moreover, the HRH Malaybalay is grateful for the presence and guidance of PDOHO Bukidnon DMO IV, Dr. Fritz Dominick Montemayor and Medical Officer IV of CHO Malaybalay, Dr. Kim Luardo, whose support contributed to the success of the activity.

With sessions running from morning to afternoon, discussions were anchored on the theme β€˜Unity in Purpose, Strength in Collaboration,’ highlighting the importance of health workforce support, discipline, and encouraging stronger bond with the team.

[𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄] All 46 Barangays of Malaybalay City Achieve 100% Training Completion!

A significant milestone for PuroKalusugan: every barangay is now empowered with the essential knowledge and tools through the PuroKalusugan Job Aid Training for our BHWs, BNS, BSIs, BSPOs, and Health Volunteers. More than just a completion, this marks a strengthened commitment to community-driven healthcare.

Our sincere appreciation to the CHO PK TWG, led by Dr. Dennis P. Sangalang, Dr. Melirose S. Deticio, Dr. Kim T. Luardo, Megan L. Dominguez, Nellen B.Jacinto, Maila A. [𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’] On March 24, 26, and 27, 2026, the HRH-NHWSS Malaybalay together with the Malaybalay City Health Office successfully conducted a series of PuroKalusugan Job Aid Trainings for Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), BSIs, BSPOs, and BNSs across Casisang and Poblacion 2 District.

In Barangay Casisang, participants gathered at the Buzzstop Function Venue for a focused training session aimed at enhancing their skills, improving service delivery, and ensuring quality care for every household. The activity was made possible through the strong support of the Barangay Council, led by Hon. Gregorio D. Jaroy, Punong Barangay, and Hon. Cerella Aldeguer, Kagawad on Health.

Meanwhile, participants from seven barangays under Poblacion 2 District convened at Barangay Kalasungay Function Hall, where they were equipped with essential knowledge on PuroKalusugan fundamentals, communication strategies, roles and responsibilities, and hands-on application of the PK Job Aid Guide.

The initiative was led by Kim T. Luardo, MD – Medical Officer IV, with the support of Mhegan L. Dominguez, LPT – HEPO III, and Nellen B. Jacinto, RM – BHW Coordinator. Dedicated LGU midwives and the HRH-NHWSS Malaybalay team served as facilitators, ensuring a focused yet engaging learning environment.

The City Health Office extends its sincere appreciation to all facilitators, barangay officials, and participants for their active involvement and commitment to community health.

[𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’] The Highway District successfully conducted the PuroKalusugan Job Aid Training on March 24 and 26, 2026, for BHWs, BNS, BSI, and BSPO from various barangays in Malaybalay City.

The first batch, held at Barangay Cabangahan, covered participants from Bangcud, Cabangahan, and Linabo/Lalawan, while the second batch, conducted at Barangay Magsaysay, included Magsaysay, San Jose, Mapayag, and Laguitas. The activity was warmly welcomed by Hon. Benjamin O. Torcende, Barangay Captain of Magsaysay.

Guided by Highway District midwives and HRH-NHWSS facilitators, participants enhanced their communication, teamwork, and community engagement skills in preparation for effective PuroKalusugan implementation.

The facilitators expressed their sincere appreciation for the active engagement of all participants and remain confident that the knowledge and skills gained will contribute to more effective community health service delivery across the Highway District.
