By carefully preparing, then stirring
all the natural ingredients by hand,
I am creating a truly unique, high-quality
skin-care product. It was because of my love of animals that
I decided to create my own vegetable soaps. I first started with a basic soap recipe,
adding pure olive, sunflower, coconut
and vegetable oil, but I was still
suffering with dry, sensitive skin. After doing more r
esearch, I began to
include higher-quality oils in my
soap recipes. But I didn't stop there;
soon I was studying the healing
powers of essential oils. After much experimenting,
I finally came up with what I believe
to be therapeutic soaps. Although the
cost of the oils makes the soaps more
costly to make, the quality
and texture are magnificent.. I'm sure you will come to appreciate
my efforts to make herbal soaps
of the highest quality available,
as my family and I have. We grew up using soap that we purchase from the grocery store. Therefore, many of us have experienced dry, itchy skin for most of our lives. You probably have tried many types of creams and lotions, many of which were very expensive. What all of us have been trying to do is to undo the harm that the commercial soaps have caused to our skin. Large commercial soap makers want to make soap last longer while making it as inexpensive as possible; therefore, they use chemicals in their products to do the job. They also remove the glycerin during the manufacturing process in order to use it in other products. Glycerin is a humectant -- it draws moisture to your skin, which is vital to having healthy skin. Since it is removed from commercial soaps, it is another reason that these soaps dry out your skin. Of course, the naturally occurring glycerin remains in Verde Bath & Toiletries handcrafted soaps. Fortunately, today you have a choice. Our handcrafted soap feels so marvelously rich and silky. It is soothing and moisturizing. We use no harmful chemicals and you can easily read the other ingredients on our label. Only friends and family test our soap, not our animals.
