Meet Denver — one of our consultants whose work bridges research and real-world health outcomes.
As a DOH–UP NIH Evidence-Based Healthcare Fellow, he developed Guideline Implementation Tools (GITs) that translate clinical guidelines into clear, actionable instructions for health workers.

He co-developed referral algorithms for Adult Sepsis and DS-TB, enabling frontline teams to make faster, evidence-based decisions. He also contributed to establishing the national guide for developing standardized job aids across health conditions.

Denver’s work proves that evidence doesn’t just inform decisions—it improves care.

On 23 September 2025, the metaHealth team met with stakeholders in the Zamboanga Peninsula to coordinate Phase 2 of the Measuring Inequity in Health Financing project.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Augusto Alpichi, Assistant Regional Director, together with representatives from DOH-CHD IX, Zamboanga City Health Office, PhilHealth Regional Office IX, Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Health Office, Dipolog City Health Office, and the Pres. Manuel A. Roxas Municipal Health Office.

Discussions focused on the fieldwork plan, roles and responsibilities, and the overall timeline of activities to ensure inclusive and evidence-based health financing.

3rd Site Monitoring Visit with the St. Luke's Medical Center – HERE Foundation

We were honored to take part in the Obesity Summit 2025: “Unmasking Obesity – Myths, Realities, and the Path Forward” last September 8 at Quezon City Hall.

Together with Dr. Madeleine de Rosas-Valera, our very own Dr. John Paul Caesar delos Trinos joined the panel discussion on Understanding Obesity as a Disease (11:25–11:55 AM)—shedding light on the burden and cost of obesity and how data-driven solutions can support better health outcomes.
