We offer FREE Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy Consultations, FREE Laser Hair Removal, and Affordable Hormone Level Testing opened the Philippines' first community-led transgender health facility in December 2016. Formerly named as Victoria Health and Wellness Center, Victoria by LoveYourself was founded in response to the transgender community's need for comprehensive trans healthcare services such as medically supervised gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT). It follows a one-stop-shop model that offers integrated gender-affirmative care. Their services include medically supervised GAHT, Transition counseling, SOGIESC Orientation, Hormone administration, and Pre- Gender Affirming Surgery (GAS) assessment and consultation. Gender-affirming hormone therapy consultations with our doctors are free for transgender people who are looking into starting their transition. As part of providing holistic services for the community, Victoria by LoveYourself also offers sexual health services responsive to the needs of the transgender community. These services include gender-sensitive HIV screening and counseling, HIV treatment care and support, Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) consultation and treatment, PrEP & PEP. Similarly, to expand the reach for the transgender population, Lily by LoveYourself, jointly operated with DIOSSA, was established to provide gender-affirming services to the transgender community in the south. Currently, they offer gender-sensitive HIV screening and counseling, HIV treatment care and support. Soon, GAHT related services will be offered in lily by LoveYourself as well. Strengthening care where it matters most. 🏳️‍⚧️

TRANScend recently conducted a Gender Sensitivity Training for the dedicated volunteers and staff of LoveYourself Welcome, one of the busiest hubs of LoveYourself in the heart of Manila.

The session focused on deepening understanding of SOGIESC, creating safer and more inclusive spaces for transgender and gender-diverse clients, and strengthening respectful, affirming service delivery. We also discussed Transgender Health, equipping the team with knowledge and best practices to better support the growing number of transgender clients accessing services at the hub.

Together, we continue to build clinics and communities where everyone is seen, respected, and cared for.

Our Onsite GAHT Consultation at PUP Sta. Mesa brought gender-affirming care closer to the community — creating a safe space where trans and non-binary individuals can access informed guidance on their transitioning journey.

Today, Doc Lou shares what he hopes more medical professionals understand about transgender healthcare:

At its core, it’s simple. Sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression should never be a barrier to compassion.

He also reminds fellow healthcare providers that gender-affirming care isn’t something to fear. While many weren’t formally trained in medical school, there are credible resources, guidelines, and training spaces available for those willing to learn. Growth in medicine begins with openness.
