World Cancer Day marked every February 4 is an international day celebrated to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage prevention, detection, and treatment.
This year marks a new campaign, "United by Unique", which focuses on a people-centered approach to cancer care and places individuals and communities at the heart of cancer care.
In Quezon City, Philippines, the celebration of World Cancer Day 2025 invites everyone to join the "ACT NOW" campaign, advocating for timely interventions and equitable cancer care. Together with the Department of Health, Philippine Cancer Society, Philippine Society of Oncologists, Philippine Society of Medical Oncology, and Quezon City's Leadership in Cancer Control, this celebration highlights the strength of partnerships, community engagement, and a collective dedication to fighting cancer.

Alam mo bang pwede kang kumuha ng PWD ID kung ikaw ay cancer patient, living with cancer, or cancer survivor?

Cancer patients, people living with cancer, and cancer survivors are deemed persons with disability (PWD) as per RA 11215 and RA No. 7277. Maaring makuha ang mga benepisyo para sa mga PWD tulad ng 20% discount sa mga bilihin. Malaking tulong ang pagkuha ng PWD ID para sa inyong gamutan.
