MEET OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER! 🪬 Dr. Jed Montayre, RN, MN, DipT, PhD is the Associate Head (Strategy) of the School of Nursing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he also serves as Director of the JBI Centre of Evidence-Based Practice for Healthcare Policy. A globally respected nursing leader, Dr. Montayre is the Editor of the Journal of Clinical Nursing, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Australasian Journal on Ageing, and Co-Chair of the International Council of Nurses Global Nursing Leadership Institute Alumni Network.

Dr. Montayre holds honorary academic appointments with Western Sydney University, the University of Wollongong, Charles Darwin University, and is a Policy Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing. With a career dedicated to evidence-based practice, healthcare policy, and leadership development, Dr. Montayre brings a wealth of expertise and international perspective to advancing healthcare research and innovation.

MEET OUR PLENARY SPEAKER! 🪬 Dr. Nilo T. Bugtai is the Director of the Evelyn D. Ang - Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies (EDA-IBEHT) and a Full Professor of Manufacturing Engineering and Management at De La Salle University (DLSU), Manila, Philippines. He also serves as a Technical Expert at the DLSU Innovation and Technology Office (DITO), contributing to research commercialization and tech-driven initiatives. In addition, Dr. Bugtai is the Editor-in-Chief of the Recoletos Multidisciplinary Research Journal, promoting scholarly work across diverse academic disciplines.

This upcoming : 3rd CDU International Research Congress, Dr. Bugtai will present on “Biomedical Engineering Research, Publication, and Innovation Opportunities and Challenges”.

MEET OUR THIRD HUB-TO-HUB SPEAKER! 🪬 Engr. Elpedio Corbeta, Jr. is the Manager of the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) AGILab (Advancing Great Ideas Laboratory) Technology Business Incubator (TBI) in Davao City, Philippines. AGILab TBI is a USeP facility where IP-based technologies are turned into marketable solutions or product through the creations of startups and spinoffs, with goal of producing firms that will leave the incubation program financially viable and able to sustain operations and compete in the market. It offers events and services like an incubation program, technopreneurship training, ideation workshops, boot camps, hackathons, pitching competitions, and investor pitches.

Last February 14, 2025, the successfully organized a Business and Commercialization Seminar-Workshop on Medical Devices, Health Products, Drugs, and Cosmetics, featuring Engr. Corbeta as the esteemed resource speaker and workshop facilitator.
