And on a random Wednesday, CASP SPread the Love: Toy Donation Drive 2025 has officially come to a close.✨
Putting this initiative together was no easy task.
With the sheer scope of the project alone, it demanded immense time, patience, and a great deal of energy from everyone involved. From the initial planning and coordination, to the final implementation of the project, every step required each and everyone's dedication and commitment to deliver these gifts for Christmas. 🎄
There were moments of exhaustions with the tight schedules, but what kept us going was the shared purpose of giving joy this Christmas. Seeing the smiles on the faces of each child made every ounce of effort worth it.
And despite the hurdles and uncertainties faced along the way, the Toy Drive was made successful, even exceeding what was expected, because of everyone who helped and made efforts to bring this project to light. Beyond recognition or requirements, this project was about bringing what we learn inside the classroom into the real world—serving communities, giving back, and finding fulfillment in acts of service. In moments of burnout and self-doubt as students, this initiative became an avenue to reconnect with our purpose and rediscover how meaningful our discipline truly is.
To QC Kabahagi Center for Children with Disabilities, thank you for warmly welcoming us, and graciously allowing us a venue for this cause.
To our dear institutional partners: Kaleido Wonders, PlaySpeak Therapy Center, Stride Center - Speech, Occupational, Physical Therapy, Therabilities, Inc., thank you for your generous contributions and trust in this project.
Most importantly, this success was made possible by leaders who stepped up, members who stayed hands-on, and a team that trusted one another and worked with heart. To our beloved project heads: Angel Carlyn Cortez, and Rafael Victor Divina, along with Aisha Vergara, we thank you for your determination and unwavering commitment to leading this project to fruition. We are incredibly proud of what we accomplished together—and even more grateful for the shared purpose that brought us here. 💛
And to everyone who donated, volunteered their time, and joined this cause, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. 💝 Because of your generosity, kindness, and willingness to give, countless smiles were shared and the true spirit of Christmas was felt where it mattered most. 🧸
This season, CASP didn’t just give toys—we shared joy, hope, and warmth. May the happiness we spread continue to ripple far beyond the holidays. 🌟
