Sa mga panahong may kinakaharap na kondisyon sa kalusugan, mahalaga ang pagkakaroon ng pangangalagang may malasakit, pag-unawa, at suporta — hindi lamang mula sa mga propesyonal, kundi pati na rin mula sa pamilya. Kaya naman, inaanyayahan kayo ng UST Hospital Department of Family and Community Medicine, sa pakikipagtulungan ng USTH Health Service Unit, sa aming monthly lay forum na pinamagatang: "Usapang Ginhawa, Alaga't Puso, Hanggang Dulo"

Layunin ng forum na ito na magbahagi ng kaalaman tungkol sa palliative care — isang uri ng pangangalaga na nakatuon sa pagbibigay ng kaginhawaan, suporta, at dignidad para sa mga pasyente anuman ang yugto ng kanilang kondisyon. Tatalakayin kung paano matutulungan ang mga pasyente at kanilang pamilya sa pagharap sa mga hamon ng karamdaman sa paraang may malasakit at paggalang sa kanilang kagustuhan at kalidad ng buhay.
