Today, we celebrate Easter Sunday ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฃ

โ€œI am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.โ€ โ€” John 11:25 โœจ

The fulfillment of Godโ€™s promise and the triumph of life over death. From the silence of the tomb, Christ rises in glory, reminding us that hope is never lost and love always prevails.

The Resurrection calls us to renew our faith and trust in Godโ€™s perfect plan, even beyond suffering and uncertainty. Just as the stone was rolled away, may our hearts be opened to grace, healing, and new beginnings. ๐ŸŒฟ

In Him, we are made new. And in Him, we are reminded that every ending holds the promise of resurrection.

Today is Holy Saturday, a sacred pause wrapped in silence and surrender. It is the day when the world seems still, as Christ lies in the tomb, and creation waits in quiet anticipation for the fulfillment of Godโ€™s promise.

In this profound stillness, we are invited to enter the mystery of faith: to trust not in what is seen, but in the unseen work of God. Holy Saturday teaches us that even in moments when God feels distant, He is never absent. Beneath the silence, grace is moving; within the darkness, redemption is unfolding. ๐ŸŒฟ

This day calls us to a deeper surrender, to lay down our need for certainty and to rest in the truth that Godโ€™s plans are always at work, even when hidden. Like the disciples who waited in grief and confusion, we too are invited to remain faithful, holding on to hope that does not waver.

For in the stillness of the tomb, God is already preparing the victory of life over death. And in our own waiting, He is shaping us, renewing us, and leading us closer to the promise of resurrection.

โ€œBlessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!โ€ ๐Ÿค

โ€œPeace in Heaven and glory in the highest!โ€ โ€” Luke 19:38 โœจ

Today is the Palm Sunday of the Lordโ€™s Passion which marks the beginning of Holy Week. We commemorate Christโ€™s triumphal entrance into Jerusalem for the completion of the Paschal Mystery.

The Palm Sunday initiates the path to the cross. As our role model, Jesus showed unwavering commitment to his mission, willing to move from the accolades of the crowd, to the suffering of crucifixion, teaching us to remain kind even in hardships. ๐ŸŒŸ

As the faithful, we are also being called to inspect our hearts, to serve, and worship with humility and kindness, mirroring Christโ€™s selflessness and pure grace.

โ€œThe faithful willingly submit to Godโ€™s will.โ€ โ€” Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:26-38 โœจ

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, centered in the incarnation of the Lord in Maryโ€™s womb, through the Holy Spirit. We do not only celebrate the announcement to Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus, but also honor her willingness and graceful acceptance of Godโ€™s will. ๐Ÿค

The Blessed Virgin Mary has a strong faith and entrusts herself to God. As the handmaid of the Lord, her total trust and obedience at the Annunciation serves as the primary model of faith, cooperating with Godโ€™s plan of salvation.

As we celebrate today the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the husband of Mary, we take into our hearts the person who built our families, flourished our bodies, and made us bloom to grow into the people we are today. ๐Ÿคโœจ

With the strength of the chosen protector for the Holy Family, we find a model of faith to the unseen and impossible that our Lord brings. Unwavering Trust to our Creator and hands of actions towards our beliefs, these are the characteristics of St. Joseph that we ought to follow. ๐Ÿ“

Inspired by someone known as a silent man, we are reminded to listen and and pray. We know that the Lord has a grand plan for us, and those around us, which would lead to something great. ๐Ÿ™

A sacred celebration of faith and gratitude marked the 80th Founding Anniversary of UST Hospital, as the community came together in a Eucharistic Celebration at Santisimo Rosario Parish last March 6, 2026.

Presided over by His Excellency Archbishop Socrates B. Villegas, O.P., D.D., and concelebrated by Very Rev. Fr. Richard Ang, O.P., Ph.D., Rev. Fr. Julius Paul C. Factora, O.P., J.C.D., Rev. Fr. Maximo P. Gatela, O.P., and Rev. Fr. Arturo P. Pestin, O.P., together with the Dominican Priests from the Priory of St. Thomas Aquinas. The Mass reflected a shared commitment to a mission that has endured for eight decades, serving with compassion, integrity, and excellence.

Hereโ€™s to decades of service and countless lives cared for, and to many more years of commitment to holistic healing. More than a milestone, this is a testament to lives healed, hope restored, and a legacy rooted in Thomasian values. As we look forward, we continue to carry the light of service for generations to come.

80 years of faith, service, and Thomasian nursing excellence. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’›

Last February 10, 2026, the UST Pax Romana โ€“ Nursing Unit joined and led the Thomasian Nursing community in celebrating the 80th Anniversary Mass of the UST College of Nursing. The Eucharistic celebration served as a moment of gratitude and reflection, honoring eight decades of forming compassionate, competent, and values-driven nurses dedicated to the healing ministry.

As we celebrate this milestone, we continue to be inspired by the Collegeโ€™s legacy of faith, service, and excellence in shaping generations of Thomasian nurses.

Here are some moments captured from the anniversary Mass as we commemorate this meaningful celebration.

Last Tuesday, the Level III students of the University College of Nursing, together with our dedicated faculty teaching staff and administrators, were blessed to embark on a deeply meaningful pilgrimage to the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. Together with Rev. Fr. Julius Paul C. Factora, College of Nursing Regent and College Secretary
Asst. Prof. Genecar G. Pe Benito, along with our Level III faculty teaching staff and administrators.

This sacred encounter became more than a physical journey; it was a spiritual pause amidst academic rigor, a moment to realign our minds, hearts, and intentions with Godโ€™s greater purpose for our vocation.

Within the solemn walls of the basilica, we were invited into a space of reflection:
- To deepen our understanding of how to truly pray, not merely reciting words, but entering into communion with God.
- To learn how to praise the Lord with gratitude, even amid challenges and uncertainties.
- And most importantly, to act on our prayers, transforming faith into concrete works of compassion, integrity, and excellence in our nursing practice.

In yesterdayโ€™s Gospel, our Lord teaches us about authentic discipleship, calling us to humility, self-denial, and wholehearted trust in Him. We are reminded that following Christ requires us to surrender our self-centered desires and embrace a life rooted in service and sacrifice.

May Our Lady of Manaoag continue to intercede for us, guiding our studies, strengthening our hearts, and helping us become nurses who pray with sincerity, serve with compassion, and act with unwavering faith.

In every injection given, every bedside care rendered, and every life touchedโ€”may we always reflect Christ.

Every lecture attended, every return demonstration practiced, every sleepless night spent reviewing concepts, none of these efforts are wasted. May you enter each examination room with clarity of mind, calmness of spirit, and assurance that your preparation will bear fruit. Trust the process. Most importantly, trust the Lord who has sustained you through every demanding season.
