Vacation daw, pero hindi rin talaga nagpapahinga.
Hawak pa rin โ€˜yung phone โ€” nagre-reply, nag-a-update, nagso-scroll.

Akala ko noon, connected ako sa mundo.
Pero ang totoo, disconnected ako sa sarili.

Madalas kasi, we confuse being available with being alive.
Kaya kahit laging online, laging updated...
parang may kulang pa rin.

Dati, takot akong maiwan.
Kailangan laging may update, laging present.
Pero habang hinahabol ko โ€˜yung mundo,
unti-unti kong nakalimutan โ€˜yung sarili kong pace.

Ngayon, mas naiintindihan ko na
Rest isnโ€™t a reward you earn after being productive.
Itโ€™s part of how you stay human.
And it needs ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ.
Kasi kahit nakahiga ka,
kung utak mo gising pa rin sa pressure,
hindi โ€˜yun pahinga.
Pause lang.

Madalas kasi, gusto nating magpahinga,
pero ayaw nating bitawan โ€˜yung control.
Ayaw nating may maiwan, may ma-miss, may hindi magawa.
Pero rest is trust.
Trusting na kahit huminto ka saglit,
hindi ka napag-iiwanan.

Ngayon, mas pinipili ko na magpahinga on purpose.
To slow down not because Iโ€™m tired,
but because I want to stay aligned.
Mas gusto ko na โ€˜yung peace na hindi nakikita,
โ€˜yung kalma na hindi kailangang i-share. ๐ŸŒฟ

Social media isnโ€™t the enemy.
Pero natutunan ko: hindi rin siya sukatan ng presence.
Kasi minsan, the most productive thing you can do
is to give yourself permission to pause. ๐Ÿ’ญ

Rest is not the absence of work.

Yan ang sinasabi ng mga tao sa kanya.

Pero deep down, alam ni Mar
โ€ฆmay kulang.

Oo, nagwo-workout siya.
Pero kung ano lang ang ipagawa ng coach o kung ano ang uso noon
Yun lang ang ginagawa.

No science. No structure. No personal growth.
Taba-payat-borta-payat โ€” paulit-ulit lang.
Walang direksyon, walang understanding kung bakit.

Hanggang sa narealize niya:
Fitness without self-awareness is just another form of escape.
This time, iba na ang approach.

No drastic diets. No shortcuts. No ego.
Just curiosity, trust and a willingness to learn.

๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ Natutunan niyang alagaan hindi lang katawan, kundi pati mindset.
๐Ÿง  Naging mas intentional, productive, at emotionally aware.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Nabawi ang confidence at naging grounded sa trabaho at buhay.

And unexpectedly, he learned more.
Hindi lang physical gain.
Kundi peace, balance, at fulfillment.

Last Friday, I almost skipped my workout.

I told myself, โ€œOkay langโ€ฆ Iโ€™ll just workout tomorrow, pag mas may gana na ako.โ€

Then, natawa ako. Because I knew exactly what was happening.

Even after years of studying behavioral science,
after teaching thousands how to build habits
and systems that make discipline automaticโ€ฆ
My brain still tried to negotiate.

Itโ€™s funny, awareness doesnโ€™t delete the pattern, it just lets you see it faster.

So instead of fighting it,I played with it.
โžก๏ธI said, โ€œOkay, 5 minutes lang.โ€
โžก๏ธSet a timer.
โžก๏ธStarted moving.

4 minutes in the treadmill, I was sweating.
Grateful that I didnโ€™t listen to my excuses.

Thatโ€™s the thing about motivation.
โŒ Itโ€™s not the fuel.
โœ… Itโ€™s the friction.

And once you move despite it,
you rewire your brain to show up on command.
You donโ€™t need motivation to start.
You need momentum to remember who you are.

Because when you act without waiting to feel ready,
you stop depending on hype,
and start operating by design.

Thank you Cho Lim for creating this amazing more than just fitness program Kaizen ๐Ÿ™‚

This is what I achieved in 100 days.

From 78 kgs to 68.9 kgs

From a waistline of 42 inches to 35 inches.

So whatโ€™s next for me after 100 days? Continue until mapalabas ko ang pandesal ko ๐Ÿ˜† another cycle of cutting after diet break ๐Ÿ™‚

I joined Kaizen to lose weight but I gained more than just losing fats. I became more disciplined, more consistent, more patient, more knowledgeable about fitness and found new set of friends inside the community.

Dahil madalas pagod, ang solusyon - binge watch. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ“บ

This was Alkinโ€™s life.

Work - grind - repeat. Pagod. Drained.
Akala niya, selflessness was strength.
Na as long as he gave everything to work and family, okay na.

Pero habang tuloy-tuloy yung cycle, unti-unting nawala โ€˜yung peace.

Yung sense of self na dati, buo. ๐Ÿ˜”
Until one day, he decided to pause.
To actually rebuild โ€“ not just his body, but his rhythm.
