Vacation daw, pero hindi rin talaga nagpapahinga.
Hawak pa rin โyung phone โ nagre-reply, nag-a-update, nagso-scroll.
Akala ko noon, connected ako sa mundo.
Pero ang totoo, disconnected ako sa sarili.
Madalas kasi, we confuse being available with being alive.
Kaya kahit laging online, laging updated...
parang may kulang pa rin.
Dati, takot akong maiwan.
Kailangan laging may update, laging present.
Pero habang hinahabol ko โyung mundo,
unti-unti kong nakalimutan โyung sarili kong pace.
Ngayon, mas naiintindihan ko na
Rest isnโt a reward you earn after being productive.
Itโs part of how you stay human.
And it needs ๐ช๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ.
Kasi kahit nakahiga ka,
kung utak mo gising pa rin sa pressure,
hindi โyun pahinga.
Pause lang.
Madalas kasi, gusto nating magpahinga,
pero ayaw nating bitawan โyung control.
Ayaw nating may maiwan, may ma-miss, may hindi magawa.
Pero rest is trust.
Trusting na kahit huminto ka saglit,
hindi ka napag-iiwanan.
Ngayon, mas pinipili ko na magpahinga on purpose.
To slow down not because Iโm tired,
but because I want to stay aligned.
Mas gusto ko na โyung peace na hindi nakikita,
โyung kalma na hindi kailangang i-share. ๐ฟ
Social media isnโt the enemy.
Pero natutunan ko: hindi rin siya sukatan ng presence.
Kasi minsan, the most productive thing you can do
is to give yourself permission to pause. ๐ญ
Rest is not the absence of work.
Itโs the presence of awareness. โก
