We thought remission meant we could finally breathe. We thought it was the start of healing. But today, Yara is fighting all over again.
After three cycles of immunotherapy, her immune system became so fragile that pneumonia took hold. She has been confined in the hospital for weeks now, while doctors work urgently to determine whether the infection is fungal or bacterial. The tests have been endless. At this very moment, she is undergoing a CT-guided biopsy, a procedure we pray will finally give answers.
The emotional toll is heavy. The financial burden is overwhelming. Still, we are holding on to faith. We believe this is not the end of her story. Please keep Yara in your prayers. And if you’re able, any form of support would mean more than we can express. 🤍💙🙏
