PH confirms first case of COVID-19 Lambda variant

According to the DOH, the Philippines' first Lambda case is a 35 year old female who has already recovered.

Children, including very young children, can develop . Parents or adults caring for them should continue to take precautions against infection and get vaccinated as they are the ones likely to infect children.

The symptoms have mostly been mild: coughing, sneezing, runny nose, upset stomach, headache, and fatigue. Call your doctor if your child has any of these symptoms and watch out for signs that your child might need more medical help. Or go to the nearest ER for severe symptoms.
