CLINICAL SERVICES
Pre- Natal Core:
We assess the patient’s history, vital sign which include the blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature. We also examined the fetal hearth tone, fundic height, cervical dilatation and presenting part. We advised the patient to have monthly check-up from the first six m
onths of pregnancy, then visit of two weeks on the seven month of pregnancy, and weekly check-up from eight months up to nine months of pregnancy. We also give tetanus toxoid starting at the first month of pregnancy. In case we find a problem, we immediately referthe patient to our obstetrician or bring the patient to the nearest hospital for further evaluation. We educate the mother regarding the importance of breastfeeding and newborn screening. Post- Natal
We take vital signs of the patient and have an physical assessment and internal examination before discharge to avoid any problem. Advised the patient to bring back her baby after 2- 3 days for newborn screening, advised her also to bring pediatrician for well baby check- up. We also advise the mother to practice personal hygiene to avoid infection to both mother and baby. Advised to come back after three weeks for family planning counseling. Care Of The Newborn
After the delivery of the baby, immediately latch on to develop bonding of the baby and mother. Baby’s tag is tied around the wrist to avoid such problems. We warmth the baby and do the cord dressing aseptically \. Vitamin k is injected, thereafter ad eye prophylaxis is also given. Normal Spontaneous Delivery
Upon admission of the patient, we assist her to the labor area for normal sponteous delivery. When dilatation of the cervix progresses, the patient is advise to wear a clean dress and to remove her jewelries and false teeth if worn. We assist her to the delivery table for perineal flushing. Referral System
(after the assessment) in case we find any problem we immediately refer the patient to our obstetrician or bring her to the nearest hospital for further evaluation. ADMINISTRATIVE
OUR PATIENTS ARE NOT ENFORCED TO GIVE INITIAL DEPOSITS, but as they are about to be DISCHARGED, that is the time they have TO PAY THEIR BILL. OFFICIAL RECEIPTS are being USED. As TAXPAYERS, we pay taxes to BIR on time TO AVOID PENALTY, SSS payments are also paid in time. Regarding the SAFETY OF THE PATIENTS, our CLINIC HAS BEEN INSPECTED by the officer of fire protection and they have issued a fire safety certificate to us. The source of water supply of the clinic has been EXAMINED periodically by Clean Air Office and they have issued a certificate of safe water supply.
