Beauty and the Beads by Jean
Jean is a person with disability. She was born with deafness and was struggling to have a normal life since her childhood. In spite of this, she was able to finish her studies up to college. But unfortunately, things are really not easy for deaf people in our society. She hardly can have a job and she is now in her 30’s with a 2 year old son. Her husband is also deaf and has a job, working hard to earn enough but sometimes short for their daily needs. Until one time this year, 2019, a friend inspired her to make handcrafted earrings. She gave her the basic tools and some materials to start with.. and so this small idea of earning through selling the handcrafted earrings started.
