It is with a heavy heart that we grieve the loss of one of our beloved Barangay Nutrition Scholars. In her time, Ate Joy, has served our constituents tirelessly and passionately. Her contribution to public health is beyond expectations of a public health worker.

We lost an invaluable member of our team and it pains us most that your place in hearts will never be replaced. We love you, Ate Joy, may you rest in eternal peace with our Lord.

MR-OPV SIA Report for May 2, 2023.

MR-OPV SIA Kick-off Activity at Municipal Gymnasium, Poblacion 6, Midsayap, Cotabato.

Barangay Villarica joins the Kick-off Activity of the Rural Health Unit of Midsayap headed by Dr. Rowelle H. Repollo, MD which was supported by our Municipal Mayor Hon. Rolando Cayetano Sacdalan, CPA, and our Municipal Vice-Mayor Hon. Vivencio V. Deomampo, Jr.

The immunization activity was facilitated by our Barangay Nurse, John Ryan Borja, RN together with the Day Care Workers Felipa V. Japos and Ester Obenieta, Barangay Health Worker Clarita D. Gabriel, and Barangay Nutrition Scholar Mariville T. Ondoy, RM. We were able to vaccinate a total of 11 children.

This activity would have not been possible without the assistance of our Barangay Kagawads Hon. Rowena L. Rojas, DMD, and Hon. Reysie Joey L. Paraon, and our Barangay Captain, Hon. Arnold B. Camponion.

The launching activity reflects the commitment of the Municipality of Midsayap in achieving the targets for the supplemental immunization activity as a mechanism toward a Healthy Pilipinas!

PAHIBALO SA TANANG LUMULUPYO SA BARANGAY VILLARICA, MIDSAYAP, COTABATO!

Karong umaabot na ika-2 hantod sa ika-31 sa bulan sa Mayo, aduna kitay pagabuhaton nga bukunahanay kontra tipdas ug polio. Ang mga batang nagka-edad siyam (9) ka bulan hantod 59 ka bulan ang edad kinahanglan mabakunahan kontra tipdas ug polio, apan ang mga bata nga wala pa nag-siyam ka bulan angay makadawat og bakuna kontra polio lamang.

Busa, nanghinaot kami sa makanunayong suporta sa atong mga program alang sa padayong kahimsog sa atong katilingban.

Alang sa dungag pang kasayuran, mahimong muadto lang sa atong Barangay Health Station ug mangutana sa naka-assign na Barangay Health Worker sa inyong matag purok.

BARANGAY VILLARICA BUNTIS CONGRESS 2023

The Barangay Health Station of Barangay Villarica through the initiative of the Community Health Team headed by the Chairperson for the Committee on Health, Hon. Rowena L. Rojas, DMD, and the Department of Health Nurse II, John Ryan Borja, RN, conducted the 1st Buntis Congress for the CY 2023 which was participated by 12 pregnant women.

Special thanks to our guest speakers: Merlita R. Anecita, RN as the program coordinator of the Maternal and Child Health, Johnryl L. Francisco as the HIV-AIDS and Family Planning Advocate, and Rhea A. Drilon for free laboratory consultation.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Council of Barangay Villarica for the constant support of our health programs, especially to the Punong Barangay Hon. Arnold B. Camponion, and to the Office of the Municipal Health Services of Midsayap headed by OIC-Municipal Health Officer Rowelle H. Repollo, MD for allowing their staff to participate in and render their services to our constituents.

BUNTIS DAY AND PABASA SA NUTRISYON PARA KAY NANAY (BREASTFEEDING PROMOTION) IN BARANGAY VILLARICA, MIDSAYAP.

July 29, 2022 / Friday

The Community Health Team of Barangay Villarica conducted a Buntis Day with Pabasa sa Nutrisyon Para kay Nanay (Breastfeeding Promotion) which was attended by 10 pregnant mothers. We also provided free laboratory services such as CBC and Urinalysis which was facilitated by Jourjin S. Samson, RN. Health Education was done by the nurse assigned in the barangay, John Ryan Borja, RN.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the support of Barangay Kagawads Fely Villora and Dr. Rowena Linawagan Rojas for the support to the campaigns and activities of the CHT.

This activity is part of the NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION of the Barangay which has been supported by the Barangay Nutrition Council, Barangay Council for the Protection of Children, Barangay Health Board, and Community Health Team.

FREE FASTING BLOOD SUGAR IN BARANGAY VILLARICA, MIDSAYAP.

July 29, 2022 / Friday

The Community Health Team of Barangay Villarica conducted fre monitoring of Fasting Blood Sugar at the Barangay Villarica Health Station last July 29, 2022. We were able to cater a total of 15 clients for the day. This program aims to provide services to track and identify cases of diabetes mellitus in the barangay.

This activity is part of the NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION of the Barangay which has been supported by the Barangay Nutrition Council, Barangay Council for the Protection of Children, Barangay Health Board, and Community Health Team.

FREE MOBILE X-RAY IN BARANGAY VILLARICA, MIDSAYAP.

July 28, 2022 / Thursday

The Community Health Team of Barangay Villarica assisted in the conduct of FREE MOBILE X-RAY sponsored by the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) and the Department of Health (DOH) in partnership with the Maranao People Development Center Inc. last July 28, 2022. We were able to cater a total of 210 clients for the day.

This program aims to provide services to track and identify cases of tuberculosis in the barangays. Special thanks to Lailaa Mae D. Astillar, RN, the Municipal Tuberculosis Program Nurse Coordinator, and Dr. Amymone D. Rayray, the Municipal Health Officer of Midsayap for choosing our barangay to be the venue of such activity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the support of the nurses and midwives assigned in Barangays Poblacion 8, Nalin, and Ilbocean, namely: Ryzel Samo, RM, Fritz Tenizo, RN, and Winnie Donor, RM, respectively.
