Pursigido ang pamahalaang nasyonal sa ilalim ng liderato ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. na hubugin ang kakayahan ng mga Pilipino upang maging globally competitive sa larangan ng pagtatrabaho. Naging daan ang WorldSkills Philippines na pinangungunahan ni Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Director General Jose Francisco "Kiko" Benitez upang sanayin at paunlarin ang mga manggagawa sa bansa.
Kaugnay nito, sinimulan na ngayong Martes, Mayo 26, 2026 sa lalawigan ng Cotabato, ang pagbubukas ng WorldSkills Philippines SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Skills Competition sa The Basket, Capitol Compound, Amas, Kidapawan City, kung saan mainit na sinalubong ni Gov. Emmylou "Lala" J. Taliño-Mendoza bilang host province at TESDA Provincial Director Relly A. Leysa ang mga delegado. Dito, pinahalagahan ng gobernadora ang galing ng mga partisipante mula sa rehiyon dose na magtatagisan sa iba't ibang larangan tulad ng Graphic Design Technology, Electronic Technology, Mechanical Engineering CAD, ICT Network Infrastructure, Automobile Technology, Software Application Development, Wall and Floor Tiling, Welding Technology, Restaurant Services, Cooking, Hotel Reception at Web Technology.

To all competitors, dala ninyo hindi lamang ang pangalan ng inyong eskwelahan o probinsya ngunit pati na ang pangarap ng inyong pamilya at komunidad. Your dedication and determination already make you winners," saad pa ni Gov. Taliño-Mendoza.
Matutunghayan din sa aktibidad ang mga training services ng Kidapawan Technical School and Security Training Center, Inc., Resin 3D Printing ng Pigcawayan Provincial Training Center at ang Solar Powered (Hybrid) Traffic Light System ng Sarangani-Gensan Provincial Office, na siya namang binisita nina TESDA Deputy Director General for Operations Vidal V. Villanueva III, TESDA XII Acting Regional Director Remegias G. Timonio, provincial directors, at mga kawani ng provincial training centers.
