Family and friends, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of my dearest husband. It has been a very difficult journey and he fought hard. Our hearts are crushed. No words to describe the pain, but knowing that he is now in peace and he no longer need to endure the pain makes letting go a little easier.

Pls help us raise funds for daddy Gil Bert 's hospitalization.
Sunday Sept 18 we went to the ER due to low oxygenation and severe weakness due to bleeding days prior. He was admitted because of anemia, with his hemoglobin dropping to 40 (normal is 120-150) and that time his oxygen saturation dropped to 82 (normal 95-100). He was ordered to have blood transfusion asap.
Currently, he is now on his 4th bag of blood. His oxygenation is now 94-98.

Status Update:

Yesterday we finished 2/4 session of his Chemotherapy and today we're done with our 12/39 Radiation. We have to add particular meds to his chemo to help Daddy tolerate the side effects. Which so far, is quite working, thank goodness! 🙏
We'd like to thank everyone that is with us all the way. The success of the event last July 23 were able to support our latest chemotherapy session and radiation. Thank you thank you thank you!
As i speak of this, we are still in need of financial support to cover medical expenses such as daddy's meds, milk and treatment therapies as we are having our radiation 5days a week. Any form of support is never too small and is very much appreciated. We have merchandise such as shirts and bags for sale and all proceeds will be for Daddy's funds.

Our heart is full ❤️ We are so overwhelmed and very grateful! Our Daddy is beyond blessed. To all the people behind this meaningful event, THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts. For the love, support and the effort. Sa dami po ng nagmamahal sa amin, di na po namin kayo maisa isa. We can't thank you enough but we promise, that it will all be worth it. We'll fight and we will survive this.

BIG C IS TRULY EXPENSIVE 🙁
Aside from the treatment, these are the necessities. Because he is now not able to take anything orally, he now relies on these supplements which he takes thru his PEG. This is his food. His ONLY nutrition. And they are very expensive. Worth 3k is good for 3 days. 😫

Today, we were finally scheduled for Planning and Marking. This is in preparation for his Radiation / Tomotherapy sessions which hopefully starts next week. (3-10 days from marking).
Presently, our biggest challenge is his frustration and anxiety. Plus the pain in the mass area. He is now prescribed morphine to be able to tolerate pain.
We'd like to ask everyone for continued prayers for Daddy's healing, emotionally and physically. Everyday is a struggle but all the support we are receiving is helping us and is giving him hope.

As we go through all this process, financial support is very much appreciated. 🙏❤️
