My invisible disability costs me this much (before PWD discount)

-Antidepressant: Escitalopram 20mg 42.50
-Mood stabilizer: Lamotrigine 100mg 49.75
-Antipsychotic: Aripiprazole 10mg 97.75
-ADHD meds: Methylphenidate 20mg 143.00

Daily total: 333.00
Monthly: 9,990.00

I also have other as needed meds for anxiety attacks and difficulty falling asleep

-Clonazepam
-Quetiapine

Other expenses
-Therapy sessions

Tapos sasabihan lang ako ng
"Wag ka na malungkot, be strong."
"You need to pray more."
"Kelangan mo lang ng new environment."
"Be positive, cheer up."

And my personal favorite, "Happiness is a choice."

Imagine, I spend over 10k a month because I'm trying not to be sad (depression) tapos sasabihan ako nang happiness is a choice 🤣🤣🤣 ang sarap lang tumambling ano.

My current diagnoses are Bipolar 1, OCD, PTSD, ADHD.

For people like me, happiness or even near-normal isn't a choice. Nabibili ito sa botika.
