Ever wondered what anonymity brings out in people on the Freedom Wall?🤔 Ever noticed how someone's online persona on the Greyhound Freedom Wall can sometimes feel like a 𝗝𝗲𝗸𝘆𝗹𝗹 and 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗲 situation?🧛 Or how a post can shift from a simple "𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮 '𝘁𝗼?" to a full-blown "𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆" moment of boldness?🤷🏻‍♀

𝗪𝗘 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨, because 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆!✊🏻🙋🏻‍♀

We are a group of 3𝗿𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗕 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 from our esteemed 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘕𝘶𝘦𝘷𝘢 𝘊𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴, and we are currently undertaking a research study entitled: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐔𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐍𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐲𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥.

In this study, we aim to scientifically explore the relationship between 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘆 (the feeling of being unknown) and 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (the loosening of social restrictions in online spaces) within our own Greyhound academic community.
