Happy Peñafrancia Festival 2025 Naga City!

The Team of Thoracic Surgery and Anesthesia Department, Lung Center of the Philippines is planning to visit Bicol Medical Center by the end of September 2025 thru the Gabay Kabaga: Resect and Retap Program.

A thoracic surgical mission via Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery (VATS) will be conducted for the following diseases:
1. Patients with hemoptysis attributed to Bronchiectasis or Aspergilloma: VATS Lung Lobectomy or VATS Pneumonectomy
2. Resectable Early Stage Lung Cancer Patients
3. Mediastinal Mass like Thymoma, Germ Cell Tumors or Neuroendocrine Tumors
4. Airway disease: Tracheal Resection or Tracheal Stenting via Rigid Bronchoscopy

If you know of patients that would benefit from thoracic surgical intervention/operation please do not hesitate to message us thru this page or coordinate with ACES- Bicol Surgery!

When Is Tonsillectomy or Adenoidectomy Recommended in Kids?

These procedures may be advised if your child has:
✔️ Frequent throat infections
✔️ Breathing or swallowing problems
✔️ Sleep apnea due to enlarged tonsils/adenoids

Discuss with your ENT doctor if your child’s symptoms interfere with sleep, speech, or quality of life.
