Selamat! Along with members of the Philippine Spine Society, Dr. Mutia was part of the Philippine delegation that participated in the 2025 Meeting of the Asia Pacific Spine Society held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

Dr. Mutia was able to share his findings with other spine surgeons in the Asia-Pacific and was able learn more from the masters of the field in our region.

We are hoping to see everyone again next year at the 2026 APSS Meeting in Cebu!

Banzai! Representing Hamamatsu University School of Medicine and BMC Regional Orthopaedic Center, Dr. Mutia was awarded the Silver Prize of the English Presentation Awards during the 54th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Spine Surgery and Related Research in Japan!

Dr. Mutia was able to share his findings and help in expanding the understanding of spine conditions. He was also able to learn a bit more from world-class spine surgeons from Japan and around the world.

Special thanks to Professor Yukihiro Matsuyama, Dr. Shin Oe, and the rest of Hamamatsu University School of Medicine for this opportunity!

G’day! Dr. Mutia successfully presented two of his research studies in the 2025 Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association Congress in Cairns, Australia.

He shared his findings with fellow orthopaedic surgeons in the region, as well as learned from master orthopaedic and spine specialists from across Asia Pacific.

This knowledge sharing would hopefully lead to better quality of care to all of our orthopaedic and spine patients.
