rn from the Philippines and people in my family, that includes hubby and myself love FOODS. Who doesn't love food??? So working out has always been somethings I've love to do, so I can enjoy delicious foods but as you add numbers to your age ;) your metabolism will start to slow down. I am a wife of a veteran, no kids but were still planning of having one (crossing our fingers) until I overcome my health struggle. I just recently was diagnosed with Grave's disease. 2 years ago, I have chest pain complaint but they never detect any problems on my heart in fact, according to my cardiologist my heart and liver are both healthy and they never see any indications of thyroid numbers increasing until last February. Then, the struggle begins, my endocrinologist told me not to work out at all which means"walking" is the only exercise I can do for months and I gained tremendous amount of weight. In facts, I hit my heaviest weight I never had in my life. I experienced depression, low self-esteem, low self-confidence about everything; luckily I have an awesome hubby by my side always there to lift my spirit up. I decided to experiment without any go signal from my doctors, I get back to my workout routine - no chest pain and yes, I feel great afterwards. I am now on my 3rd week of my challenge and will continue to do what I love to do to reach my GOAL... Get fit and healthy! like my page, Join or follow me as I soar in my journey! yours truly
