I encountered something that stayed with me long after I handled a patient.
I had a patient who passed away, and in the middle of his mother’s grief, I heard his mother say something so heartbreaking. She was planning to bring her 9-year-old son to Jollibee for the first time. He had never been there before, not because they didn’t want to, but because life made it difficult.
It made me realize how something ordinary for many of us can mean so much to others. With that, I’m reaching out. I would like to find mothers (or families) who, due to financial constraints, have never had the chance to bring their children to Jollibee. If you know someone or if you are one of these parents, please feel free to comment on this post and I will send you a private message. This is also my way of giving back as a March celebrant.

Update: All 7 families were given Gcash support for Jollibee. Thank you!
