Anchor of Strategy and Policy
The KKB initiative is built upon two core strategic frameworks:
1. Whole-of-Government Approach:
Ensuring seamless coordination among state agencies to deliver integrated services.
2. Whole-of-Nation Approach:
Mobilizing stakeholders outside of government, particularly the private healthcare sector, to achieve a national objective.
COL AMY T ADONA GSC MC ( RES ) emphasizes that this program is a direct fulfillment of the **Universal Healthcare Act (R.A. 11223)**, which upholds the basic right of all Filipinos especially those who serve to accessible, available, adequate, and affordable healthcare.
Broadening Our Commitment
This partnership expands access to equitable and quality healthcare for a broad community of beneficiaries: Active Soldiers, CAFGU Active Auxiliary Service Personnel, Reservists, Friends Rescued (Former Rebels)
and All their registered dependents.
Key Stakeholder Engagement
This commitment is realized through vital engagement with our partners: Philhealth Region X, Malasakit Centers, Medical Assistance for Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients Program ( MAIFPIPP ) by the Dept of Health, DSWD PCSO and Asenso Ozamiz.
Commander’s Vision: Readiness and Efficiency
The Commander of 1ID Tabak Division Major General Yegor Rey P. Baroquillo Jr. underscores the profound operational impact of the KKB program. He emphasized that this partnership is a force multiplier. It will not only **save lives** by ensuring that time-sensitive emergency cases receive immediate care where time is of the essence but it will also substantially cut the budget the AFP dedicates to direct healthcare expenses. A healthier force is a more sustainable and ready force.
This initiative transforms a legal mandate into life-saving, operational readiness for the 7TAS Afrescom Wesmin ( RES ).
