How to Store Pumped Milk
✨ Tip 1: Label each storage bag with the date and time you pumped using a marker. Trust us—you won’t always remember, especially with so much on your plate as a new mom.
✨ Tip 2: If your baby doesn’t finish a bottle, the leftover milk should be used within 2 hours. If you put it in the fridge right away, you can save it for the next feeding.
✨ Tip 3: Once frozen milk has been thawed, keep it in the fridge and use it within 24 hours. If it stays at room temperature, it’s only good for up to 2 hours.
✨ Tip 4: Not sure if the milk is still safe to drink? Don’t throw it away—you can use it topically for diaper rash or to soothe sore ni***es.
