It can be difficult to remain grounded and stay mindful of our emotional reactions during stressful or overwhelming moments. Over time, these challenges can contribute to unhelpful patterns that reinforce cycles of emotional dysregulation.

Here are some ways to regulate your emotions:
- Cognitive reappraisal to reframe situations to a more balanced perspective
- Mindfulness to create space between feeling and reacting
