Following in-depth discussions and joint research efforts, a group of global experts, with the initiative proposed by Prof. Ming-an Yu from China-Japan Friendship Hospital, has officially released the:

2024 International Expert Consensus on US-Guided Thermal Ablation for T1N0M0 Papillary Thyroid Cancer

📌 Key Highlights:

● US-guided thermal ablation is endorsed as a first-line treatment for T1aN0M0 PTC.
● For T1bN0M0 PTC, it is recommended as an alternative when surgery is declined or not feasible.
● It may also be considered in selected cases of minor extrathyroidal extension and limited multifocality.
