BARANGAY INVESTMENT PLAN FOR HEALTH
AUGUST 4-5,2025

PLACER Primary Care Facility conducted Workshop that focuses in developing and updating plan for health 2026-2028. The said activity participated by nurses and midwives assigned in 20 brgys.,PCF healthcare providers headed by Dr. Custodio, BLGU representatives (councilors, treasurers).
The initiative aims to strengthen local government unit/BLGU capacity in delivering quality health care. Enhancing local health systems, improving coordination between local and health agencies and ensuring equitable access to healthcare services to PLACERNONS.
Thank you so much to our DMOIV Kevin Sam L. Dingding for your strong presentation skills and expertise in creating a plan which foster participants active learning and enhanced abilities.

The Department of Health-CHD Caraga reminds the general public on WHAT TO DO AFTER AN EARTHQUAKE in light of the recent tremors and the ongoing aftershocks being experienced:

-Stay Calm

-Check yourself for any injuries and seek medical help

-After you have taken care of yourself, help injured or trapped persons near the affected area.

-Inspect your home for damage. Examine walls, floor, doors, staircases, and windows to make sure that the building is not in danger of collapsing.

-Check for gas leaks, electrical system damage, and water line damage.

-Watch for loose plaster, drywall, and ceilings that could fall.
Use battery-powered flashlights to inspect your home. Kerosene lanterns, torches, candles, and matches may tip over or ignite flammables inside.

-Get everyone out if your home is unsafe.

-Listen to the radio or television for updated emergency information and instructions. Keep yourself informed about the latest updates on earthquakes and aftershocks through reliable sources such as PHIVOLCS-DOST and disaster management agencies. Refrain from spreading fake news that can lead to unnecessary panic and confusion.

-Stay out of damaged buildings. If you are away from home, return only when authorities say it is safe.

-To prepare for a possible earthquake recurrence, ready your supply kit: food (e.g. biscuits), water, clothing, first aid supplies, a mobile phone, a whistle, and a flashlight with extra batteries.

Stay vigilant, stay safe, and support one another during this challenging time.

The successful conduct of the Learner Health Assessment Screening and PhilHealth KONSULTA Caravan held at AMOSLOG ELEM. SCHOOL for the benefit of learners.Services include Philhealth registration going beyond standard firts patient encounter to offering medical checkup with free medications, vision screening, dental exam and physical examinations. As part of health promotion, the Philippine Coast Guard also share their expertise in Water Safety: Drowning which is beneficial to the learners. This initiative ensures our students' well-being and promotes access to quality healthcare services. 💚

Through the meaningful collaboration between Philhealth LHIO SURIGAO, PLACER PCF, AMOSLOG ELEM. SCHOOL(Deped) LGU PLACER, AMOSLOG BLGU the vital health activity was made possible.

Through the LGU PLACER,with the strong dedication of PLACER PRIMARY CARE FACILITY in partnership with PHILHEALTH SURIGAO and sponsorship from JUL'Z GOLD ORE MINING successfully conducted MEDICAL MISSION CONSULTA CARAVAN
at Dona Helene Cultural Center.
Lots of clients were assessed who availed free medical consultation, dental services like tooth extraction, circumcision, VIA screening, laboratory tests, risk assessment, counseling and free medicines.

Thank you so much PHILHEALTH SURIGAO for the services provided like ID issuance, MDR update and registration.
