AN ORDER DECLARING NO CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS, PRIVATE AND PUBLIC, IN THE PROVINCE OF SULTAN KUDARAT DUE TO TROPICAL DEPRESSION NAMED "KRISTINEā
WHEREAS, the safety and well-being of students and educators in Sultan Kudarat is of utmost importance;
WHEREAS, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued a warning regarding a low-pressure area named "Kristine," which poses potential risks due to adverse weather conditions;
WHEREAS, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office has recommended the suspension of classes to ensure the safety of students and faculty;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Datu Pax Ali Sangki Mangudadatu, Governor of the Province of Sultan Kudarat, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order the following:
Section 1. Suspension of Classes: All classes in all levels, both public and private, in the Province of Sultan Kudarat are hereby suspended effective immediately until further notice.
Section 2. Monitoring and Assessment: The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office shall continuously monitor the situation and provide updates to the public regarding the status of the weather and any further action needed.
Section 3. Public Safety Advisory: All residents are advised to stay indoors and exercise caution during this weather disturbance. Local authorities are urged to remain vigilant and prepared for any emergencies.
Section 4. Reassessment of Situation: A reevaluation of the situation will be conducted daily, and the public will be informed about the resumption of classes as soon as it is deemed safe.
