A well-informed community is crucial in the promotion of health and prevention of diseases. โœ…๐Ÿ’ฏ

This National TB Day, the nurses, midwives, BHWs, and DOH HRH of Pontevedra Main PCF conducted a simultaneous health information dissemination among the different barangays in Pontevedra. The primary focus of the activity was Pulmonary Tuberculosis, its symptoms, transmission, prevention, and management.

Thank you so much to our dear healthcare workers for taking on the call to spread the information and combat misinformation on tuberculosis. Your efforts are commended and highly appreciated! Padayon!

Last July 17, 2025, the Pontevedra Main PCF conducted the Basic Life Support Training for the 4th Batch of BHWs and BNS from Brgy. San Isidro, Brgy. Mh Del Pilar and Brgy. Bta. Gibong to equip them with basic knowledge, skills, and attitude to perform to save lives.

Again, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Punong Barangays of Brgy. Bta. Gibong-Hon. Samuel Elicanal,Brgy. Mh Del Pilar-Hon.Jenny Saludares and Brgy. San Isidro-Hon Alan Moguad for the travelling allowance and food of our participants. Also to Sir Arnel Gareza from the DRRM and Miss Kimberly Grace Vasquez from the PCF our trainers,Miss May Joy Tonog, Miss Joebeth Esmeralda and Miss Jessa Sol for the assistance, members of the council from Brgy San Isidro for ensuring our Venue and accomodating our trainers. Lastly, Dr. Johnson C. Zuloaga for allowing us to conduct this training with the support to all the resources needed.
