WHAT IS PRE-MARITAL S*X?
Pre-Marital S*x is a s*xual activity performed by people before their marriage. It is a s*xual relation between two people prior to marrying each other, or a s*xual activity an individual is involved prior to getting married. In many cultures and religions, pre-marital s*x is considered a sin and a moral issue since it is against the true essence of marriage. Pre-Marital S*x have advantages, such as it helps you recognize s*xual problems, which may help you to work on it or seek help. Although some of its advantages are tempting you to agree on this issue, this study/advocacy will mainly focus on the disadvantages of pre-marital s*x and why it shouldn’t be performed.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF OUR ADVOCACY?
This advocacy focuses on the disadvantages and consequences of pre-marital s*x, as it may bring a negative impact on people’s lives especially on teenagers which might be involved in an early pregnancy because of the lack of knowledge and awareness about pre-marital s*x. This advocacy’s purpose is also to show and describe the cons of pre-marital s*x such as unwanted pregnancy, teenage pregnancy, s*xually-transmitted infections, HIV and AIDS, regrets, guilt, loss of self-respect, and many more.
WHAT IS THE AIM OF OUR ADVOCACY?
This advocacy aims to educate people—especially teens on the consequences and disadvantages of pre-marital s*x as they are more likely to suffer and endure the consequences more than the adults. This study’s target audience are people with less education about pre-marital s*x and its impact on their lives. Other than this, the teenagers should also be the main focus since pre-marital s*x can result to teenage pregnancy which is a major issue in the Philippines. This advocacy can be done by performing multiple symposiums and seminars on local barangays, schools, and any other institutions. Public engagements should also be present so that many people are educated and are aware about the issue.
