Marso: Buwan ng Kababaihan

Ang Marso ay mahalagang buwan sa pagdiriwang ng National Women’s Month, at sa huling Lunes nito ay ginugunita rin ang National Women with Disabilities Day.

Sa pagsusulong ng karapatan ng mga kababaihang may kapansanan, kilalanin natin ang bagong talagang Sectoral Representative ng National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) at alamin ang kanyang mga plano at adbokasiya. Makakasama rin natin ang isang life coach upang gabayan ang mga kababaihan sa pangangalaga ng mental health sa gitna ng stress at mga hamon sa araw-araw.

This coming March 21, the world celebrates World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) with the theme “Together Against Loneliness,” highlighting the importance of social inclusion and calling on all sectors to build supportive and welcoming communities for Persons with Down syndrome. In this week’s episode, InkluNasyon will feature the inspiring journeys of two families advocating for greater social inclusion—especially in promoting employment opportunities for their daughters with Down syndrome. Alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Blg. 1385, ipinagdiriwang tuwing ikatlong linggo ng Pebrero ang National Intellectual Disability Week.

Sa temang “Ginintuang Ani ng Pag-ibig Tungo sa Matagumpay at Tunay na Inklusyon,” pakinggan natin ang kinatawan ng PAFID upang ibahagi ang kalagayan ng mga taong may Intellectual Disability. Makakasama rin natin ang isang ina na magbabahagi ng kanyang paglalakbay kasama ang kanyang anak. Iyan at marami pang kuwento ng pag-asa at inklusyon, dito lang sa InkluNasyon!

Before the month of January had ended, hope and mobility was delivered! 💕

A joint medical mission held in Calapan Mindoro helped provide wheelchairs and assistive devices to people who have mobility difficulties. A huge thanks to the Local Government of the City of Calapan, Physicians for Peace, Philippines, LDS, and members of AFPO for collaborating and reaching the community. We also thank all the partners and volunteers that help made this mission a success! 🫶🏼
