Six Indians arrested for attempting to smuggle a red panda (an endangered species) and 86 other animals, including snakes, parrots, and monitor lizards, out of Thailand. Remarkably rare, these majestic creatures are only seen in Luzon, Samar, Leyte, and Mindanao. However, despite ongoing conservation initiatives, the pride of the Philippines is currently critically endangered with only an estimated 400 pairs left in the wild.
