Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice where we hold poses for a few minutes to target the deeper tissues of the body—like ligaments, joints, and fascia that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of Yoga practice. It’s less about stretching and more about softening, allowing your body to release tension at its own pace. And if your target is to be more flexible, Yin Yoga will definitely help you reach your goal as long as you practice consistently.

It’s breathing through challenges, softening into the unknown, and embracing the gift of now. Every inhale is an invitation, every exhale a gentle surrender. When we say yes to life, moment by moment, we create space for growth, peace, and joy to unfold naturally. 🌿✨

Today, we didn’t just stretch our bodies—we stretched our patience, our courage, and our capacity to trust the journey. The splits are more than a pose; they are a story of gentle persistence and fearless leaps into the unknown. Like the monkey god Hanuman who took a giant leap fueled by faith and devotion, each of us showed up ready to reach beyond what felt possible.

It’s okay if the stretch felt intense or even uncomfortable—that’s where transformation lives. Every tiny inch forward is a victory, every breath held in the discomfort is a testament to your strength.

Remember, growth isn’t a race. It’s a series of small, brave steps, unfolding in their own perfect time. Carry that courage with you—on the mat, and in life.

What’s one small leap you’re proud of taking lately?

Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs happen when we open our hearts—on and off the mat.

In today’s class, Wheel Pose becomes more than a shape. It becomes a lesson in trust, courage, and the beautiful balance of holding on and letting go.

2025 Theme: Yoga for One Earth, One Health
This year marks the 11th International Day of Yoga with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, which echoes a vital truth that personal wellness and planetary health are inseparably linked. Yoga strengthens the body, calms the mind, and fosters a heightened sense of awareness and responsibility in daily life. This mindfulness allows one to choose healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. In caring for ourselves, we begin to care for the Earth, reflecting the enduring Indian ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family. -UN

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐠𝐚? 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧.

70 & Still Rising—Literally!

This powerhouse woman is turning 70 this May,
and here she is—inverting the narrative on aging with a strong and steady Sirsasana (headstand).

She didn’t let the number define her.

She didn’t let fear stop her.

She chose growth, strength, and self-belief.

This is what aging with intention looks like.

This is what happens when you commit to your practice, no matter when you begin.

If she can do this, what’s stopping 𝘆𝗼𝘂?

Let’s normalize strong, flexible, fierce women at every age.
