Our very own Dr. Kay Sacdalan, together with her family, proudly joined the 4th PWDe Run last November 30 at UP Diliman. Their participation reflects a heartfelt commitment to promoting awareness, inclusion, and support for persons with disabilities. It is a beautiful reminder that advocacy begins at home; through unity, compassion, and the simple act of showing up for a meaningful cause. 💙

Today, as we commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we at the Psychological Association of the Philippines – Persons with Disabilities Special Interest Group (PAP-PWD SIG) join the global community in honoring the strength, dignity, and contributions of persons with disabilities.

This day reminds us of our shared responsibility to create inclusive spaces, promote equitable access to mental health care, and uphold the rights and well-being of every individual with a disability. Through our work, advocacy, and partnerships, we remain committed to advancing psychological services that respect diversity, empower communities, and foster meaningful participation for all.

Let us continue building a society where every person regardless of ability can thrive, be heard, and be valued.
