Pana: Paaabutin

Hi, I’m Steph and I’m the heart behind “Pana: Paaabutin.” Mental health has been an underrated problem. People have been passing it off as with "positive thinking lang yan!" and "mag jogging ka lang, mawawala na yan!" Let us face it for what it really is: life threatening. Countless times I’ve heard people tell those who are in need to just jog it off or get up and start moving. Mental health is so much more than that. It’s a mental cage only visible to them. I recall a friend describe it as: I feel electrocuted whenever I try to reach for the locks. I decided it was time to get up and speak for those who silently cry in the middle of the night. Pana is a pilot project to give hope to those who need it the most. This is a subscription box that will, hopefully, add “something to look forward to” in their purpose in living. Items are curated especially for their case, in hopes of helping them cope -- rather, victoriously finish another month. The “subtitle” for Pana is “Paaabutin” because I want everyone who are fighting this battle to live long enough to see how far they will go in life -- to encourage them never to give up on themselves despite the bloody battle they are fighting.

I hope you will help me spread awareness on mental health. This is a rampant problem, but is also one that is hidden in plain sight. May you help us with our cause. Share Pana with your loved one today.
