Ang pasok sa gobyernong opisino ngayong Lunes, September 22, 2025 ay suspendido. Ito ay dahil sa inaasang malakas na pagbuhos ng ulan dahil sa Super Typhoon "Nando". Alinsunod na din ito sa payo ng National Diseaster Risk Reduction and Managment Council na aprobado ng Opisina ng Malacañang. Sa mga nakaschedule po ngayong araw sa OPD, maghintay lang po ng panibagong schedule. Salamat po sa pagintindi. Ang EMERGENCY Department ay bukas po para sa mga sakit na kailangan ng agarang lunas o atensyong medikal. Mag-ingat po kayo!

Magandang araw po! Ang Opisina ng Malacañang ay nagdeklaro ng SUSPENSYON ng opisina ng gobyerno SIMULA 1:00 PM sa LUNES, SEPTEMBER 22, 2025. Ito ay bilang pagdiwang at pagkilala sa 33rd National Family Week at "Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day". Para sa detalye, pakitagnan po ang anunsyo na nakapost. Ang mga naschedule po ng umaga ay mananatili. Maaring pumunta lang po ng maaga para di po masarahan ng OPD. Salamat po!

The Section of Ophthalmology offers a two-year, fully funded Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus fellowship program designed to cultivate highly skilled practitioner-leaders in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, capable of operating across diverse clinical, academic, and research environments.

Fellows receive direct supervision from attending consultants in their provision of medical and surgical care, fostering an atmosphere conducive to continuous learning and professional development. Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics and performing a range of surgical procedures, such as cataract surgery, strabismus surgery, laser treatment for Retinopathy of Prematurity and Retinoblastoma, intravitreal injection of therapeutic drugs, enucleation, orbital biopsy, anterior orbitotomy, and ptosis surgery, among others.

Fellows are also responsible for supervising resident rotators from various ophthalmology programs within Metro Manila and collaborating closely with the rotating fellow from the East Avenue Medical Center. Bimonthly journal clubs, specific to the Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus program, are conducted, including Retinoblastoma rounds held in collaboration with the Hema-Oncology service.

There is no scientific evidence that the kind or amount of light coming from computer screens is damaging to the eyes. The Academy does not recommend any special eye wear for computer use.
