Creche Integrated Studies Centre, in partnership with the School Parents and Teachers Association (SPTA), successfully conducted a two-day Seminar-Workshop entitled “Addressing Barriers in Inclusive Education: Equipping Parents and Teachers to Support Learners with Special Needs,” in celebration of National Autism Consciousness Week.
Held on January 23–24, 2026, at the Celebrity Hall, Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City, the activity brought together parents and teachers to strengthen collaboration, build understanding, and promote inclusive learning practices.
January 24, 2026 | Day 2
Day 2 highlighted parental guidance, child protection, and creative approaches to support the holistic development of children with special needs. Sessions equipped families and educators with practical knowledge, advocacy tools, and hands-on strategies to foster inclusive learning environments.
Panel Discussion: Parents and teachers, including Mrs. Jean Gonzales, Rizalio Sanchez, and Dra. Ferdiliza Dandah Garcia, shared valuable insights, personal experiences, and best practices in raising, protecting, and educating children with disabilities.
