In 1949, Dr. Jose De Los Santos Sr., the Father of Philippine Orthopedics, founded the De Los Santos Clinic. Back then, the 30-bed capacity clinic specialized in providing treatment and rehabilitating patients with bone abnormalities. In 1973, the clinic began to expand and renamed itself as the De Los Santos General Hospital (DLSGH). Now at a 150-bed capacity, DLSGH provided additional specializations, including Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Medicine and Surgery. In 2006, STI, the Philippines’ largest network of nursing colleges, has acquired a significant stake in Delos Santos Medical Center thus, the hospital was renamed De Los Santos-STI Medical Center. This new partnership combines the strength of a pioneer in healthcare services and the competitive edge of a leading information technology-based education institution. Through the years, we continue to make our mark in the industry by expanding our facilities, bringing in more state-of-the-art medical equipment, and providing continuous training programs to our personnel.
