The Network to Stop AIDS-Philippines is a national network of non-government organizations (NGOs) and community-based organizations (CBOs) committed to engage in the national HIV and AIDS response. Formed in November 2011, its members represent various key affected populations, including people living with HIV (PLHIV) support groups. NSAP’s vision is to be a sustained and functional civil society
platform for strategic, collective, and collaborative engagement in the national HIV and AIDS response. Specifically, it aims to:
1. Function as a coordinating mechanism for joint CSO action and advocacy on critical issues affecting the national HIV and AIDS response in various platforms
2. Perform a watchdog role over the HIV and AIDS response and facilitate corresponding CSO collective action, as necessary
3. Build and enhance perspective and knowledge of its members on relevant issues affecting the national HIV and AIDS response. NSAP is convened by TLF-SHARE Collective and Action for Health Initiatives (ACHIEVE), Inc. ACHIEVE also functions as the Secretariat of the network. NSAP has been supported by UNAIDS-Philippines.
