Today, we honor World Autism Awareness Day 💙

Autism is not something to be “fixed” by a single solution or single person.

It is a neurodevelopmental condition that calls for understanding, evidence-based care, and compassionate support.

In my practice, I have seen how progress may come in the smallest steps—
a shared glance, a first word, a moment of connection.
What may seem simple to others is everything to a family.
And behind every child is a story of patience, resilience, and unwavering love.

A Facebook post linked to the fraudulent website that is circulating online falsely attributes a story to me involving a child with autism. I would like to clarify thatthe statements and story presented are completely fabricated, and my name, credentials, and photograph were used without my knowledge or authorization.
The post appears to have been shared by an **individual account (identified as a teacher), although it is unclear whether the account genuinely belongs to that person**.
For clarity, **NO milk, supplement, or medication has been scientifically proven to treat or cure Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)**.
This misleading content appears to be linked to the following website promoting an UNREGULATED MILK product.
The matter has been reported to the appropriate authorities. Please exercise caution and avoid sharing misleading health information online and if possible help us report it to Facebook Management. Thank you.

Mariing nililinaw na ang naturang pahayag ay walang katotohanan at gawa-gawa lamang. Ang pangalan at larawan ni Dr. Bagain, pati ang logo ng National Children’s Hospital, ay ginamit nang walang pahintulot o awtorisasyon.

Nililinaw na hindi nag-eendorso si Dr. Andrea Martha Bagain, ang Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, o ang National Children’s Hospital ng anumang produktong nag-aangking makagagamot o makapagpapagaling ng autism.

For your guidance, I do NOT endorse any commercial products related to my medical practice. At present, based on scientific evidence, NO milk, supplement, or medicine can cure Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Appropriate interventions are individually guided by qualified specialists according to each child’s needs.
