10 Ways how to use Aloe Vera soothing gel.

1. Face moisturizer

Aloe vera is able to pe*****te deep into three layers of the epidermis, leaving my dry skin well-hydrated for hours.

2. Body moisturizer

I apply the gel all over my body after a shower or bath in the morning, and it keeps my skin soft and moisturized for the whole day.

3. Eye gel

Whenever I wake up with puffy eyes, I just slather some gel on a cotton pad, and place it on top of my closed eyes. Fifteen minutes later, when I remove them, the puffiness is gone.

4. Sleeping mask

Once or twice a week, I apply a thick layer of the gel as the last step of my night-time routine and wash it off when I wake up the next day. The mask deeply hydrates my skin while I sleep, and when I wake up, my complexion is much brighter and softer.

5. Face mask

I find the mask works equally well even when I use it as a facial mask for just 15 minutes. It’s something I do whenever my complexion looks tired, and it never fails to revitalize my skin and make me look fresh and rested.

We commonly associate holiday season with fun, happiness, togetherness and laughter. However, not all of us are fortunate enough to enjoy the holiday season. There are many of us out there who are sad on the Christmas day.
This includes those of us who are not financially sound, have recently lost a loved one, are not able to get to their families on time or are bothered by something similar. Here are a few facts regarding how people feel during the holiday season:


In a survey conducted in 2010, a whopping fifty four percent people said that Christmas was over-rated. This reflects that a lot of hype is created regarding Christmas, raising everyone’s expectations. Many times people begin to expect too much from Christmas – which leaves them feeling disappointed or stressed out at the end of the day. We expect the day to go perfectly, and if it doesn’t it leave us feeling unsatisfied.


However, in the same survey, about eighty one percent of the people claimed that they don’t dread the Christmas day – in-fact they look forward to it and welcome it. Eighteen percent people said that they actually dread the Christmas day and their anxiety and stress levels increase as the day comes near.


An analysis was conducted on Facebook posts which revealed that the two weeks before Christmas are a very popular time for couples who want to break up. In-fact it was one of the two most popular times. However, Christmas day is the least favorite day for breakups – so the Christmas day is a good day for couples! They like to stay together during Christmas and not deliver the bad news to their partner on the Christmas day.



A study by Samaritans has revealed some interesting data regarding how men feel during the holiday season. Out of the men who were surveyed, forty eight percent claimed feeling depressed during the month of December.


The same study revealed that forty five percent men claimed being most stressed out during the holiday season as compared to the rest of the year. This is because the festive seasons brings along with it social as well as financial pressures. The men are expected to pay for the gifts that their spouse, sibling or parents purchase. In the year 2013, more than 200,000 calls were received during Christmas. These were calls from people in the UK and Ireland, who were feeling distressed over the holiday season.
