Cucumber Water:

Cucumber is beneficial to overall health as it can help with digestive issues; reduce stress as it has a calming effect on the body, it can also boost energy levels, and improve cognitive functioning. It keeps your skin hydrated from within for a healthy glowing skin.

How to make it:

Ingredients:

1 cup water
1/2 cup cucumber
1 tsp chia seeds
1-inch ginger
5-6 mint leaves ( optional)

Method:

Add cucumber and ginger along with water to a blender and blend on high. Pour it into a glass mug and add chia seeds. Set it aside for 5 mins until the chia seeds swell and enjoy the drinks.

You can chill this in the fridge and then consume or else you can add in crushed ice or ice cubes to the cucumber water.

HEALTHY HEART – Chia seeds are good for a healthy heart and contains a good source of omega-3 as well as omega-6 fatty acids. Chia seeds can lower harmful (LDL) cholesterol while increasing the “good” (HDL) cholesterol. On top of that, chia seeds contain no cholesterol, they can also help reduce plaque buildup and lower high blood pressure.

Is Pink Himalayan Salt Better Than Regular Salt?

Pink Himalayan salt is a type of salt that’s naturally pink in color and mined near the Himalayas in Pakistan.

Many people claim that it’s loaded with minerals and provides incredible health benefits.

For these reasons, pink Himalayan salt is often thought to be much healthier than regular table salt.

However, little research on pink Himalayan salt exists, and other people insist that these extravagant health claims are nothing more than speculation.

This article looks at the key differences between pink Himalayan salt and regular salt and evaluates the evidence to decide which type of salt is healthier.

What Is Salt?
Salt is a mineral largely consisting of the compound sodium chloride.

Ingredients:

½ tbsp chia seeds
1 glass of water (250 ml)
½ tsp cucumber or lemon juice (optional)

Method:


Into a glass of water, add in the chia seeds and let it sit for 15 minutes to an hour. You will start to see the seeds plump up and begin to float around in the water. It is ready to consume.
