The Municipal Health Office spearheaded by MHO Phoebe Dela Cruz successfully conducted the Local Health Board (LHB) Meeting together with our ever-supportive stakeholders 🤝.

Present during the activity were representatives from the PNP , BFP , SB Committee on Health Chairperson Hon. Narcisa D. Plana , MLGOO Ma’am Karen Kaye Mandreza , and our dedicated MHO personnel 💙.

In behalf of our MHO, Dr. Phoebe D. Dela Cruz, the Municipal Health Office of San Jose de Buan proudly participated in the Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Summit held on July 10, 2025, at Summit Hotel, Tacloban City.

This regional gathering, organized by the DOH–Eastern Visayas Center for Health Development through the Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU), brought together health leaders from across Region 8 to:

✅ Strengthen disease surveillance systems
✅ Showcase best practices and innovations
✅ Reaffirm our shared commitment to public health

💚 Through active participation in programs like this, we continue to strengthen our local response efforts and protect the health and well-being of our community.

LOOK | Rollout Training on the PMNP Information System (Household Convergence Scorecard) 💻📊

The Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) conducted the rollout training on the PMNP Information System – Household Convergence Scorecard for the health workers of the Municipal Health Office (MHO) of San Jose de Buan, in partnership with DOH-HRH (Human Resources for Health).

This hands-on training aims to strengthen the ability of frontline health workers to use digital tools in identifying and addressing household-level gaps in health and nutrition services—promoting a more targeted, efficient, and data-driven approach. ✅

The activity was successfully facilitated with the technical support of PMNP representatives: Mr. Alex Astorga, Ms. Chippy Cardoso, and Ms. Lord Añano, and with the active participation of MHO personnel and DOH-HRH staff. 🤝

A significant step forward in building a healthier, well-served, and nutrition-secure San Jose de Buan. 🌿
