πŸ“£ LATE POST | PIR 2025: A Reflective Journey Through a Gallery Walk
πŸ“… June 4, 2025
πŸ“ Municipal Covered Court, San Jose de Buan, Samar

Innovation meets reflection.

As part of this year’s Program Implementation Review (PIR), the Municipal Health Office introduced a Gallery Walk approach β€” transforming data into visual stories that allowed participants to engage, reflect, and interact meaningfully with the performance of each program area.

πŸ“Š Each station presented key accomplishments, challenges, and lessons learned, offering a dynamic and participatory way to review our health indicators. This method empowered health workers and stakeholders not just to observe, but to contribute ideas, raise concerns, and co-create solutions.

It was more than just a review β€” it was a collective journey of insight and accountability, where every chart and photo told a story of service, resilience, and hope.

Together, we continue to build a health system that listens, learns, and grows. πŸ’š

LOOK: πŸš›πŸŒŸ Truckabataan: Adolescent Wellness Caravan rolled through Barangay Babaclayon and Poblacion 1, San Jose de Buan β€” delivering two impactful days of health services, wellness education, and youth empowerment!

This initiative was made possible through the strong collaboration between the Municipal Health Office, LGU San Jose de Buan, Provincial Government of Samar, UNICEF, and the Ospital sa Barangay program β€” working together to bring healthcare closer to the youth.

Special thanks to our partners in safety and support β€” 87th IB Hinirang, PNP, BFP, and DepEd β€” and to the hardworking barangay officials and health volunteers who ensured the smooth flow of the activity.

Together, we made the first stop a success β€” and we move forward with one mission: to promote adolescent wellness in every barangay. πŸŒ±πŸ©ΊπŸ‘©β€βš•οΈ

πŸ“Š LOOK: Strengthening Health Data through PMNP DQC!

The Municipal Health Office of San Jose de Buan, in collaboration with Ma’am Love Gequillana from UNICEF, successfully conducted the Data Quality Check (DQC) of the Field Health Services Information System (FHSIS) for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, and the 1st quarter of 2025 under the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP).

This milestone activity was made possible through the technical support of Mr. Alex Astorga and Ms. Gillian Nicole Borrel from the PMNP team, and the active collaboration of MHO personnel and HRH-DOH deployed health workers, whose dedication ensured the smooth and accurate validation of local health data.

The DQC ensures that our health information is accurate, consistent, and reliableβ€”laying the groundwork for data-driven planning and effective delivery of health and nutrition services to every Buananon.

Together, we move toward a stronger, evidence-based health system that uplifts and empowers our communities. πŸ’ͺ
