I just had the privilege of presenting my work on BEYOND THE UNKNOWN: NAVIGATING THE TRANSFORMATIVE JOURNEY OF CAREGIVING THROUGH RARE CANCER at todayโ€™s 2024 Neuroscience and Psychiatry Conference in Bangkok, Thailand! Hello everyone!

It's been a while, and I've been super busy with some thrilling news! ๐ŸŽ‰ I am ecstatic to announce that I am now a full-fledged psychoanalyst-academic after an intense 4 years of training and 2 years of fellowshipโ€”6 incredible years in total!

But the excitement doesn't stop there! I am honored to join the faculty at the Greater Kansas City Psychoanalytic Institute (GKCP), the very place where I graduated. This is truly a dream come true! Attached is the heartwarming letter from the director.

And there's more! My passion for continuous growth has led me to apply for a two-year specialty course in group psychoanalysis, centered in community psychoanalysisโ€”aligned with the themes of my book. I am beyond grateful to share that I just received my acceptance email today! ๐ŸŽ‰

Exciting News from Your Holistic Psychiatrist!

Hello everyone!

I know itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve been active here, and I want to thank you all for your patience and support during this time. My journey through psychoanalytic training, coupled with a demanding patient caseload, has kept me quite busy, leading to a temporary pause in accepting new patients.

I have some thrilling news to share! After six enriching years, including two years of fellowship in Psychoanalytic Thought and four years of intensive academic psychoanalysis training at the Greater Kansas City Psychoanalytic Institute in Missouri, USA, I am set to graduate in the spring of 2024! ๐ŸŽ“

Alongside my studies, Iโ€™ve been pouring my heart and soul into a book โ€“ a comprehensive 400-page exploration of the topics Iโ€™m deeply passionate about. While itโ€™s currently tailored for technical readers, I'm committed to revising it to be more accessible to everyone, aiming for a release within this year.

I am excited to share with you excerpts from my finished book.

I hope you will like them and find them enlightening. I'd love to hear from you! Drop your comments below if you're interested in learning more about the book or if there are specific topics you'd like to explore. ๐ŸŒŸ Exciting Milestone in Mental Health Advocacy! ๐Ÿง ๐ŸŒˆ

Thrilled to share that we've integrated the first psychoanalytic community theories into our Community Mental Health Program in Concepcion, Iloilo, Philippines! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ Specifically, we're delving into the powerful concept of "Unconscious Containment" as a tool for sustaining mental health initiatives.

Celebrating a decade of service in far-flung areas and multiple islands, our journey began 10 years ago, predating the Mental Health Law of 2018. We established mental health policies in 2013, reaching down to barangay levels, and municipal ordinances were in place by 2015.

Now, as we mark a decade, we're delving deeper, exploring the nuanced tools that underpin our program's success. Unconscious containment has been a key player, contributing to the longevity and impact of our efforts.

Hello everyone!!! I'm sharing some of the highlights of my summer of 2023! I've added psychoanalytical works outside of the consultation room to make it more interesting and enjoyable. I've got more programs coming up soon both here in the United States of America and in some islands of the Philippines!

As we proudly raise our flag here in the US, I hope that psychoanalytic ideas will be more prominent or at least discussed more in our homeland- the Philippines.๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

Today, May 6,2023 I accepted the appointment of pioneering the committee on Psychoanalysis in Community at the American Psychoanalytic Association Candidate Council. This position will last for 2 years and as I mentioned I do not have any predecessor. I will lead this committee with faith and inspiration from the lessons I learned from my mentors both in the Philippines and here in the United States of America. Continuing the program owned by the people of Concepcion, Iloilo which I initiated back in 2011 to 2013. Weโ€™ve come a long way!!!

Now to celebrate the decade of its birth, my husband and I went back to my previous area and wanted to continue the advocay and the program by being an external support resource. This will also pave the way for pioneering the first community psychoanalytic clinic in the country along side with the mental health program in place. As everybody knows, both me and my husband are bonifide psychoanalyst in training in the US enrolled in psychoanalytic institute since we do not have yet an accredited psychoanalytic institute in the Philippines.

My dream is to impart what we learn from the theories of psychoanalysis keeping in mind that we need to be culturally sensitive when it comes to applying the techniques.

I wish that you will send us your blessings as we embark this ambitious project through our collective unconscious and dreaming.
