The Education Development Services (EDS) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Provincial Scholarship Program under the 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄 for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The scholarship is 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝐬𝐭–𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 who aspire to complete their studies with the support of the province.

3. Barangay certificate of residency indicating the number of years of residency (photocopy)
4. Certificate of Indigency with proof of income (photocopy)
Proof of income could be:
• Annual Income Tax Return (ITR) of one or both parents (if working)
• Employment Contract (if OFW)

5. Photocopy of Grade 12 report card (with complete grades from 1st to 2nd semester) if applicant is currently a senior high school graduate or Photocopy of Certificate of Grades of the previously enrolled semester if the applicant is currently a college student.

The report card or the certificate of grades must indicate the General Weighted Average (GWA) with minimum grade requirement of:
•For Indigenous Peoples applicants- at least 80%
• For Non-Indigenous Peoples & BS Nursing applicants- at least 85%
• For Persons with disability (PWD) applicants- at least 80%

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: All subject must not have failing grades, dropped or INC remarks

𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: not over 30 years old for PWD, and not over 18 years old for BS Nursing at the time of application.

𝐀𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:

In preparation for your transition from college to the professional world, the Guidance Office will conduct a Career Guidance Seminar on November 12, 2025 from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM designed to help graduating students gain valuable insights on employment opportunities, job application strategies, and workplace readiness.

With this, all 4th Year College students are required to attend this seminar as part of the pre-enrollment requirements. Please be reminded of the following:

1. Attendance in the Career Guidance Seminar is MANDATORY. You cannot proceed with enrollment if you fail to attend the seminar. We will provide a PASS SLIP after the event, which will be given to the registrar during your enrollment.

2. To all working students, kindly inform your employer ahead of time to make necessary arrangements and avoid conflict with your schedule.

3. No excuses will be accepted unless a valid Medical Certificate is submitted to the Guidance Office.

4. All participants are required to bring the following documents:
• Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate
• Certificate of Indigency or Certification for First-Time Job Seekers (available at your Barangay Office)
• Any valid ID

5. We encourage everyone to bring their own snacks and lunch to avoid going in and out of the venue.

🌱 Grow Through What You Go Through: Finding Balance, Healing, and Hope

Even as the earth beneath us shook in recent days, we are reminded that life, too, brings moments that can leave us unsettled. Yet through it all, we find strength in one another, in faith, and in hope.

During our Mental Health Awareness Celebration, our speakers shared heartfelt wisdom that touched every heart in the room — messages of resilience, balance, and healing that remind us that growth often comes not in spite of our struggles, but because of them.

They reminded us that it’s okay to not be okay, that asking for help is a sign of courage, and that healing takes time.

In a world that can shake us to our core, may we always find the courage to stand firm, heal gently, and grow deeply.
