We join the SAIT family in mourning the loss of our beloved Senior PFC member, Mr. Edwin Basilio Jr. Your light, laughter, and dedication to our club will never be forgotten. You were not only a member, but also a true brother and friend whose presence inspired many. The contributions you made will remain deeply woven into the fabric of our organization, and we will honor your memory by carrying forward the spirit of service, excellence, and brotherhood that you so passionately lived out.

To your family and loved ones, we extend our deepest prayers and condolences. May we all find comfort in knowing that your legacy continues in the lives you touched and in the mission you faithfully embraced. Rest peacefully, Edwin. You will always be remembered as part of the heart and soul of our CMT family.

With deep sorrow, we mourn the passing of Mr. Edwin Basilio Jr., a 4th Year Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics student, who tragically passed away due to a vehicular accident on September 14, 2025.

Your SAIT family remembers you for your aspirations, kindness, and the dreams you carried with you. You were known for your humor and the way you brought life and joy to your classmates, making every moment lighter and brighter. Though your journey was cut short, the impact of your presence will remain in the hearts of your classmates, teachers, and friends.

May you find eternal peace in the arms of our Creator. Our prayers and deepest condolences go out to your family and loved ones in this time of grief.

Rest in peace, dear Edwin. You will always be remembered.

Last July 23, 2025, with the collaboration of the 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 led by Fr. Leonardo P. Adaptar, MAED, RGC, LPT, and the College Guidance Associate Ms. Kaye D. Tuso, RPm, alongside the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 & 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 under the leadership of Dr. Rian P. Maisog, and with strong support from the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, students came together to explore how communication and decision-making go hand in hand in shaping the kind of person we become.

The session reminded us that the choices we make and the way we express them are powerful reflections of who we are. As our Resource Speaker shared, “𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦. 𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴—𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘺, 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺—𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴.” It’s through these values that we learn to navigate life’s decisions with clarity and confidence. We also learned that how we communicate shapes our relationships and how others receive our intentions. It’s not just about speaking—it’s about listening, connecting, and choosing our words with care.

We are truly grateful to our resource speaker, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐂. 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐞, 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐀, 𝐑𝐏𝐦, whose presence and wisdom left a lasting impact on everyone, and to our vibrant host, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐞 𝐃. 𝐓𝐮𝐬𝐨, 𝐑𝐏𝐦, for keeping the energy alive throughout the event! 👏
