NexGard and NexGard Spectra:

Both contain the active ingredient afoxolaner, providing excellent protection against fleas, ticks and mites. NexGard SPECTRA contains an additional active ingredient, milbemycin oxime, which provides protection against heartworm and intestinal worms. Nexgard Spectra is the advanced version of Nexgard.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Use only as directed.

• Administer orally at monthly intervals to provide the recommended dosage of 2, 5 mg/kg of afoxolaner per kg bodyweight.

• For dogs above 50 kg, administer the appropriate combination of chewable tablets.

• NEXGARD® is recommended for use in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older.

WARNINGS

• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.

• After treatment with NEXGARD®, most ticks will generally be killed within 48 hours after infestation. However the attachment of single ticks cannot be excluded and so transmission of infectious diseases cannot be completely excluded if conditions are unfavourable.

Dosage Instructions/Directions

To apply to your dog, simply follow these steps:

1. Remove one FRONTLINE® Plus applicator by lifting and removing the plastic tab to expose foil backing. Peel away the foil or use scissors to open.

2. Open the applicator by holding it upright—with foil side toward you—and breaking off applicator tip.

3. Part your dog's hair between the shoulder blades.

4. Place the applicator tip just above the skin and squeeze firmly. Make sure you apply entire contents of the applicator in a single spot on your dog’s skin. Do not apply on top of the haircoat.

5. Avoid contact with treated area until dry—FRONTLINE Plus will be waterproof in 24 hours.

6. Repeat every 30 days for maximum efficacy.

Who Is Product Used for?

Dogs and Puppies (over 8 weeks of age, that are 2kg or over. It can also be used in pregnancy and on nursing bi***es).

How Does Product Work?

FRONTLINE® PLUS contains two powerful flea and tick killing ingredients: fipronil and the insect growth regulator (S)-Methoprene. Fipronil kills adult fleas and ticks that come into contact with your pet, while (S)-Methoprene kills flea eggs and larvae. That means that FRONTLINE® PLUS effectively targets all stages of fleas, from eggs to adults, breaking the flea life cycle and preventing infestations. After the first application, fipronil will stay in your dog’s system, killing fleas, ticks, and chewing lice for a full 30 days.

Cautions/Precautions

For external use only. Do not use on puppies under 8 weeks of age and or small dogs under 5 lbs. Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product.
