A celebration long overdueโ€”because excellence deserves the spotlight! ๐ŸŽ‰๏ฟฝ
Today, we honor a milestone that reflects years of perseverance, compassion, and the unmistakable spirit of the Mabuting OT. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก
On December 2, 2025, UST proudly produced 60 newly registered Occupational Therapists and 28 topnotchers, each one embodying competence, character, and commitment to service. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ“š

This achievement is more than a numberโ€”it is a testament to the strength of a community that learns, grows, and uplifts together. ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒŸ
To our 60 new OTRPs: your journey has been shaped by sleepless nights โ˜•๐Ÿ“–, shared notes ๐Ÿ“, countless evaluations, and unwavering purpose.

Now, you stand as professionals ready to bring dignity, hope, and meaningful occupation to every life you touch. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

As you step into the field, may you continue championing the heart of occupational therapyโ€”empowering people to live fully, authentically, and independently. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ The world needs Mabuting OTs like you. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿค

Congratulations, Batch of December 2025! ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿฅณ๏ฟฝWe are proud, inspired, and excited for all the lives you will transform. โœจ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our OT academic staff and students proudly represented the department at the 14th Pan-Pacific Conference on Rehabilitation held at Innocentre, Hong Kong last November 8โ€“9, 2025. ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ

Through their insightful poster and paper presentations, they showcased excellence in research and contributed to advancing rehabilitation practice on the international stage.

We also take pride in Prof. Ivan Neil B. Gomez, Ph.D, who served as part of the Scientific Committee for this yearโ€™s conference โ€” further reflecting our departmentโ€™s strong engagement in regional and global OT research initiatives. ๐Ÿ‘

Congratulations to our dedicated faculty and students for bringing pride and inspiration to our OT community! ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

๐Ÿ“ฃ Good luck, our Mabuting OT Interns! ๐Ÿ’›
This is it โ€” your Revalida is not just an exam, but the culmination of every client youโ€™ve uplifted, every skill youโ€™ve honed, and every challenge youโ€™ve conquered. ๐ŸŒŸ
Remember, a Mabuting OT doesnโ€™t just know the theory โ€” they live out empathy, purpose, and balance in every action. ๐Ÿ’ช
Step into your revalida with confidence, knowing you have what it takes to make life more meaningful โ€” one occupation at a time. โœจ

On the 3rd day of November, we commemorate the feast of St. Martin de Porres, a humble Dominican friar and the patron of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences.

Born in Lima, Peru in 1579, St. Martin was known for his deep compassion and unwavering service to the poor, the sick, and the marginalized. Despite facing discrimination due to his mixed heritage, he lived a life marked by humility, healing, and charity. Through his acts of kindness and devotion, he became a symbol of unity, justice, and mercy.

St. Martin passed away in 1639 and was canonized by Pope St. John XXIII on May 6, 1962. He is venerated as the patron of people of mixed race, public health workers, and advocates of social justice. An enduring reminder of service rooted in love and equality.
